Snow Day Boudoir

At laaaaaaaaast my snow day has come along! We finally got our first snow day of the year on Wednesday at let me tell you, it was so welcomed. Christmas Break barely felt like a break with all the hustle and bustle of the holidays. On the bright side, it's looking very likely that more snow/cold days may be in my future next week!

My BFF, Jacki, and I spent the surprise day off pretty much the same way we would have as kids...

PHOTO SHOOT!!

It's pretty amazing that Jacki's modeling aspirations line up well with my own aspirations for photography. And lucky for me, Jacki's always up for a shoot!

I, too, of course took advantage of the opportunity for my own mini photo shoot!

Our "little girl," Darla got fixed today. When the vet called to let me know that Darla was out of surgery she described Darla as acting like a "drama queen." I laughed, because that definitely describes her! But, oh man, when I picked Darla up she DID NOT look like a drama queen. She looked so pitiful and unlike herself. The drugs hit her hard and her poor eyes were full of tears. Shayne and I both both shed at least one over it.

Harry was just like himself right after he got fixed. Just another way that our two precious doodles are so very different!

Darla just seems so sad, not that I can blame her. It is a pretty major surgery, after all. I'm just hoping that she's feeling more like herself tomorrow.
